I recently acquired an Olympus OM-10 from the same colleague who gifted me the Minolta Big Finder. This camera is in excellent condition and came with two lenses: an RMC Tokina 35-70mm f/4 and a Kenlock MC-TOR 80-200mm f/4.5. The OM-10 operates primarily in aperture priority mode, but it also has an optional plug-in adapter for manual shutter speed control. While I usually shoot in aperture priority, it’s reassuring to have the manual adapter available for those times when it’s needed. I took the Olympus OM-10 on our trip to Switzerland and loaded it with Kodak Ultramax 400 film. I wanted to see how it compared to my Pentax P30N. While I can’t articulate the differences in technical terms, I found myself preferring the OM-10 after the first roll. It’s lighter and just feels more comfortable to carry and use.
