Using automatic point-and-shoot cameras is fantastic for quickly capturing memories without much hassle. However, I missed having control over the camera settings, which led me to explore film SLRs. My search brought me to Tradera, a platform where sellers auction used items, offering a plethora of options. I placed bids on a few cameras, and the first one I won was the P30N. Hurray! 😁 More info about the camera here Pentax P30n/P3n/P30t - Camera-wiki.org - The free camera encyclopedia
The camera came with a 28-80mm zoom lens. Since I’ve mostly used prime lenses with my digital cameras, using a zoom lens was a new experience for me. However, after shooting a few frames, I realized that I would definitely invest in a good zoom lens for my digital cameras in the future. The flexibility it offers is invaluable.
I loaded a Kodak Ultramax 400 and took this baby to our trip to Switzerland
